Ginny earned her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology at Baylor University and her Master of Arts in Marriage and Family Counseling from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. Ginny started seeing clients in a church counseling center in 2011 and went into private practice in 2014. She currently works with couples and individuals 18 and above.
Ginny was was trained in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) in 2016. This therapy is used to help clients heal from traumatic and anxiety-provoking experiences. She also has experience helping clients who struggle with depression, anxiety, marital relationships/ family issues, grief, and life transitions.
Ginny’s aim is to address the root of the problem rather than merely addressing the symptoms. She strives to create a comfortable environment to allow clients to be open and honest while gently challenging them to process information and to make the best choices for their current season of life.
Ginny is in the office on Tuesday and Wednesday’s from 9:00-5:00pm.
