I earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Management from Texas State University, a Masters of Divinity from Southwestern Theological Seminary and am now working to complete a Masters in Counseling and Licensed Professional Counseling certification from Colorado Christian University. For the last 20 years I have worked with families and teens as a minister, coach and teacher while also starting two businesses as an entrepreneur as well as a minister to teens in Richmond.
Working with guys, both adults and teens, and coaching them to become all that God intended them to be is my primary interest. My approach is to address areas of the mind, body and soul, with the mindset that we live the fullest lives when we walk in our strengths and not our weaknesses. I use tools such as positive psychology, cognitive behavioral therapy, the Enneagram and spiritual formation to help clients heal their hurts and walk in the strength of their redemption. My hope is to turn wounds into scars and scars into stories that will help others live a full and meaningful life.
