Dr. Iman Hypolite, MD, Psychiatrist
Dr. Iman Hypolite is a double board certified child, adolescent, and adult psychiatrist. She is originally from New Orleans, LA. She attended medical school at Case Western Reserve University. She received her general and adult psychiatry training at University of Maryland and Sheppard Pratt. From there, she attended the Johns Hopkins Child and Adolescent Psychiatry fellowship. Dr. Hypolite has over 14 years of clinical experience and spent most of her career in Washington, DC area. She is thrilled to have Houston as her home now!
Dr. Hypolite defines health holistically, as spiritual, mental, physical, and social well-being. She specializes in the maintenance and restoration of healthy, balanced lifestyles for high functioning adults and children.
Sessions with Dr. Hypolite are comprehensive and allow time for clients to be heard and for their needs to be addressed. Dr. Hypolite believes psychotherapy is invaluable and encourages most of her clients to have a psychotherapist. She offers psychotherapy on a limited basis and partners with clients’ psychotherapists. She believes the most effective approach to holistic health is serving as a partner in health with her clients, their psychotherapists, physicians and other sources of support.
She specializes in Anxiety Disorders, Depressive Disorders, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD/ADD), and Adjustment Disorders in children, adolescents, and adults. She offers psychiatric services in-person and via telemedicine.
